Tracey brings a wealth of diverse experiences and a deep-rooted passion for the Katahdin region to her role at the Katahdin Collaborative. With an unwavering commitment to fostering positive community networking and sustainability, she is dedicated to empowering individuals and driving collective action towards a brighter future.
Her connection to the area runs deep. Raised in a military family with Maine ties, Tracey explored the natural wonders of the Katahdin region during her youth and later as a student at the University of Maine, Orono. These experiences, coupled with her indigenous roots, instilled in her a profound appreciation for the delicate balance between human impact and environmental preservation.
Tracey’s diverse background, having lived in numerous locations across the United States and internationally, provides her with a unique perspective on community building and cultural integration. This global outlook, combined with her local insights, enables her to approach regional challenges with innovative solutions.

Mount Katahdin, holding deep cultural and spiritual significance, has called Tracey home. She is excited to engage community members, businesses, government agencies, municipalities and nonprofits to foster an inclusive environment where ideas flourish and impactful solutions emerge.
Tracey is thrilled to be back in Maine. She and her husband have raised four sons and have two rescued Rottweilers. Her return to the area marks a new chapter in her commitment to community development and environmental stewardship in the Katahdin region.
